Edward Scissorhands (1990) – This one is my favorite saga about the best Hollywood prince and princess (at the time), lovely Winona and dearest Johnny. Some kind of feel good movie, mixing post-war American dream housing neighborhood with just a little bit of the Grimm Brothers' dark cloud and grey yard suspense. Some people said that Scissorhands' appearance came from The Cure's Robert Smith (for his wicked hairdo and make up) + Freddy Krueger (for his sharp long hands) + Michael Jackson (for his BDSM leather outfit and pale skin). The screenplay is very entertaining introductory to Tim Burton darker works.
